Distinctives
The roots of Shore Baptist Church go back to 1984 when a very small group of Christians began to meet together on the North Shore. Their doctrinal basis then was Evangelical and Reformed.
Today the Church is a diverse and international group of people of all ages coming from many countries, cultures and backgrounds.
The Church wants to be above everything, a people of the cross; worshipping with gratitude in their hearts to God for Christ’s death for sinners and living as people who have the cross at the centre of their thinking in this culture.
The Church is a group of people who want to be passionate in their love for Jesus; passionate in their worship together and in their testimony.
