Youth
Overview
‘ALIVE’, the name of our youth, is an acronym for ‘Always Living In View of Eternity’, a belief which has always been key to the youth here at Shore Baptist Church.
Our aim is to encourage and develop young adults in their lives and faith, molding them into genuine, thoughtful and educated adults, leaders and followers of Jesus. Along the way we’ll have loads of fun and develop friendships that we hope will last a lifetime.
ALIVE Youth is for young adults aged 13+ who regularly meet for discussions, activities and camps. Why not come along and see what’s happening?

Youth group
We meet every Sunday during school term following the morning service for half an hour. Come along for engaging small group discussions, guest speakers, youth testimonies, prayer times and the occasional snack!!!
Youth Lunch
We meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month for lunch and a casual chill out time in the homes of our youth members. This is a great way for us to spend time together at no cost to the wallet and for families in our church to get to know the youth.
Activities
Always popular, activities are a fun way to hang out together and form new friendships. Recent activities include Youtube Night, Mini Golf, Sports Night and Christmas Dinner.
Youth Camp
Taking place every Easter holiday, Grace and Truth youth camps bring the youth of Shore Baptist together with those of other churches from around New Zealand for 5 days of great food, discussion, kayaking, team building, creativity, teaching, climbing, swimming and pretty much sheer fun!!!
